What are the stories we tell ourselves? If we had the opportunity to tell ourselves another story, what would we say? Teens Have Voices Too! is a joint storytelling event produced by Storyburgh and Write Pittsburgh featuring teen and adult storytellers narrating their personal reflections and in conversation through "What I’d tell my future self" and "What I’d tell my younger self" respectively.

Storyburgh was officially born on November 15, 2015. The main idea is to converge journalism, social activism, workforce utilization, and technology to harness synergy among mission-driven organizations through collaboration, transparency and democratization of curatorial / editorial process of community stories. Storyburgh is a not for profit community storytelling platform that 1) Give voice to marginalized populations by telling their underreported stories, and 2) Enable organizational stakeholders to visualize and understand the causes they serve.
Write Pittsburgh is a program collective that amplifies voices, empowers writers, and encourages relationships that build writer agency and foster relationships that grow and strengthen community. Write Pittsburgh visions a strong community of writers and storytellers empowered through social, emotional, and mental health learning, nurtured through creative support, uplifted by community engagement, and valued through equity and inclusion.
