#TeachInMN / PELSB ep. 3 of 5: Tier 2 and Tier 3 Teaching Licenses for New Teachers

This #TeachInMN episode is the third of five special sessions co-presented with the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). PELSB is the state agency that grants new and renewing teaching licenses to educators. View previous and upcoming sessions.
Emily Busta and Hanna Younce, Licensing Executives from PELSB, return to the stage to cover information for attendees who have recently completed, or soon will complete, teacher preparation programs, including those who have completed preparation outside of Minnesota.
An analysis will be given on the differences between Tier 2 and Tier 3 licensure, as well as the pros and cons of each license. A brief overview of related service and CTE Tier 2 and Tier 3 licensure will also be provided.
Attendees will leave this presentation knowing more about Tier 2 and Tier 3 licensure, who is able to apply, and what is needed to apply and renew these licenses.
There will be limited time at the end of the session to answer questions from the audience. Questions related to other licensing areas may be referred to other presentations in this series.
