Tananarive Due | A Twin Cities Book Festival Event
By Rain Taxi
Tananarive Due has written dozens of mesmerizing novels, and helped foment the Black Horror renaissance we live in today, with writers such as Colson Whitehead, Jordan Peele, and Victor La Valle all producing masterpieces of our time. Now Due’s thrilling 1995 debut novel The Between (HarperPerennial) is being reissued with a new foreword by the author, cementing its place in history; though published more than 25 years ago, The Between’s exploration of racial and social injustice, family tension, and isolating grief still ring true today. At this special TCBF event, Due will be in conversation with Twin Cities-based radio and podcast host Lissa Jones.
