The Depressed D-Type

The Dominant role in a dynamic is usually perceived as one who is put together, confident, and social. However, many people on the left side of the slash suffer from mental health conditions that make fitting this perception difficult. Leading a dynamic while having to fight through depression, social anxiety, or poor self image may cause some to fee that they are not "Dominant enough" for their partners and their community. What those people may not know is that they are not alone, and that there are ways to work around their issues and help change the stigma surrounding mental health as a D-type.
In this session, JimJam opens up about his own struggles with resolving depression with his Dominant role, and provides insight into accepting that Dominance does not have to match the fantasy that we usually associate with the role.

About the Presenter
JimJam started in kink around 2017. After attending his first leather convention, finding cigars, blood and all the fun sadistic things in between, he started to branch out and learn all he could. The Dallas community has helped a lot in his education on top of conventions and general exploration.
