2.30pm > Perfecting your Content Strategy

Are You Wasting 60% of Your Time?
Gartner tells us that 60-70% of the content created is never seen – so why are recruiters and their marketers often fixated on creating it. How can you create a “less content, more marketing” strategy to ensure that every piece of content you create has a purpose beyond keeping you busy, and generating the odd click? And then have time to do the good stuff – candidate, client, colleague generation?
Speaker: Lisa Jones, Barclay Jones.

3.00pm > Strengthen your Social Media Strategy

Creating content is one thing. Maximising it as an asset within your business and squeezing every bit of recruitment marketing juice from it is the key - that’s where your social media strategy should be coming into it’s own.
However, many recruiters make the mistake of thinking social media is simply a place to sling content and are not tapping into the benefits of building a community, or building relationships with partners who are either influencers within the sector they serve or contacts that have been targeted via a committed ABM strategy.
Are you missing a trick? What are you doing to strengthen your social media strategy?
Speakers: Christina Robinson and Amanda Davies, Green Umbrella Marketing.

3.30pm > Automation; putting marketing at the heart of the sales process

The reality is that sales and marketing technology has picked up pace in the last few years. You have the likes of Marketo, Hubspot, Herefish, Force24 and a long list of others means that as marketers, we have a more sophisticated way of nurturing audiences across a range of channels. You throw in platforms like LinkedIn with all of its targeting, you very quickly have a shopping list of all of this marketing technology at your fingertips. And if you have the budget, the world can be your marketing oyster. Or can it?
The ‘recruitment tech stack’, seems to be all that leadership want to talk about at the moment, but contrary to popular belief, technology is not going to save us. It needs to be rooted in business strategy and marketers have a role to play. This session will show you that role.
Speakers: Glenn Southam, Lonely Marketers and Audrey Lartey, i-Pharm Consulting.

4.00pm > Podcasting: yes Recruiters can and should

Trying to create content that engages with your audience can be difficult. Written content only gets you so far and with us all becoming more and more comfortable on web calls then a great way to take advantage of this is a podcast. James will talk you through the key rules to starting and running a podcast; the pros, the cons, how it can fit into your overall marketing strategy and how you can use it to generate leads.
