Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day with Massachusetts author Rajani LaRocca! In this virtual event, Rajani will discuss her new picture book, BRACELETS FOR BINA'S BROTHERS. Developed in collaboration with math experts at STEM education nonprofit TERC, this book follows a young girl making beaded bracelets for her brothers for the Hindu holiday of Raksha Bandhan. The book has  hands-on activities for children and parents to explore everyday math together, all in a celebration of diversity and the power of storytelling.
