Trenchard War Series Q&A

By RAF Museum

1800 - Lecture Begins
1845 - Q&A Begins
1915 - Event Ends
This lecture will examine whether sovereignty, the oldest innovation of statehood, continues to have relevance and will challenge the audience to reimagine a world where technology changes not only your day to day life but a much more fundamental aspect of how states draw the line. In exploring these issues Klisman will provide an insight into what it may mean to go to war in this new age and why borders may no longer matter.

Trenchard Series:
The Trenchard Lectures provide a platform for emerging and established scholars to develop and discuss new research. The lecture series represent part of the Museum’s ongoing commitment to encourage debate regarding Air Power, the history of the RAF, and contemporary security challenges. Previous lectures have explored Air Power in its broadest sense and considered theoretical approaches, historical case studies, cultural and societal attitudes, contemporary conflicts, and strategic thought.
