This workshop will provide step by step demonstrations for creating plaster molds and slip casting complex forms to create multiples.

Day 1 will include demonstrations for coddling pieces and set up, mixing and pouring plaster, and the process for making molds with multiple parts.

Day 2 will include demonstrations for casting multiple parts of a plaster mold. We will also discuss the slip casting process and how it works. Demonstrations will show how to pour casting slip, remove from molds and assemble slip cast parts.
