Join The Economic Security Project, People’s Action, Parents Together, Income Movement, Change.org and Humanity Forward for a virtual town hall to celebrate the passage of the American Rescue Plan, and to talk about the importance of ongoing direct cash relief for American families.

Participants will include Members of Congress who are champions of direct cash payments, impacted individuals benefiting from the  current round $1400 stimulus checks, small business owners, activists and policy experts.

In this Town Hall, elected leaders will interact with people most directly affected by our current crisis, talk about this recent victory and the need to do more. Hosts are Brigid Flaherty, cofounder and director of Down Home North Carolina, and Dorian Warren, cochair of the Economic Security Project.

Stimulus Checks: From Rescue to Recovery
