ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Carole M. Genshaft is Curator-at-Large at the Columbus Museum of Art, where she has organized many exhibitions about the life and work of Aminah Robinson. Dr. Genshaft has been with the Museum since 1984 and was Director of Education from 1996-2006. She has an undergraduate degree in art history from Syracuse University, a master’s degree in library science from Case Western Reserve University and earned her doctorate in art education from The Ohio State University.
Dorri Steinhoff grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago where she developed a love of nature, art, and architecture. She met Joe Kuspan while in graduate school in Cincinnati. Their common interest in art and architecture led to numerous design and renovation projects including two boutique shops in the Short North Art District of Columbus and five central Ohio homes. They are currently enjoying watching the seasons change at Glenbrow with their two daughters; Maren and Sofia, while continuing to restore the 1964 Glenbrow tower.
Michael Griffith's books of fiction are Spikes (Arcade, 2001), Bibliophilia (Arcade, 2003), and Trophy (TriQuarterly Books/Northwestern University Press, 2011), which was named one of Kirkus Reviews' Best Books for that year. His book of nonfiction, The Speaking Stone: Stories Cemeteries Tell, appeared from the University of Cincinnati Press in 2021. He is working on a novel tentatively called Grimster & the Cruciverbalist. Griffith is Professor of English at the University of Cincinnati.
