Nita Prose: The Maid
By TPLCulture
Nita Prose joins us to talk about her debut novel, The Maid, the story of a charmingly eccentric hotel maid named Molly who has always struggled with social skills and misreads the intention so others. But she delights in the orderliness or her job, and when she unexpectedly finds herself the lead suspect in a murder case, friends she never knew she had unite with her in a search for clues to find the real suspect and clear her name. The Maid explores what it means to be the same as everyone else and yet entirely different – and reveals that all mysteries can be solved through connection to the human heart.
Nita Prose talks with Emily Donaldson (editor of Canadian Notes & Queries) about The Maid, an utterly original debut novel about a charmingly eccentric hotel maid whose orderly world is turned upside down when she discovers a guest murdered in his bed.
