Empowering Communities with Healthier Homes: Insights from Ageing Better’s Research and Lincolnshire Council’s Good Home Hub Pilot

By Installer & elemental

Hosted by Sara Edmonds, Co-Director, National Retrofit Hub

Retrofit and well performing homes are fundamental to enabling people to live long, healthy and comfortable lives. The Centre for Ageing Better know that improving the nation’s homes will help overcome the health and care polycrisis our nation currently faces.
At this webinar we will share Ageing Better’s research into: how investing in home improvements can boost the economy, the multiple health benefits associated with well performing homes, and how this work can also help us achieve Net Zero and fuel poverty targets.

You will also learn about proposals for the creation of ‘Good Home Hubs’, which will build on the good practice in home improvement services already in place across England. We will hear from Lincolnshire Council, where this approaching is being tested, engaging with local residents, voluntary and community organisations and partners at District and County level to identify what services people most need.

Join us to discover the potential for all health benefits from retrofit can be enabled and delivered, at a local level, across the UK.
