"Women on Wednesdays": Molly Ball - "Pelosi," in conversation with Betsy Fischer Martin
By au_wpi
As part of our “Women on Wednesdays” series, please join the Women & Politics Institute for a virtual conversation with WPI Executive Director Betsy Fischer Martin and award-winning political journalist Molly Ball, author of the just-published book, Pelosi, an “intimate, fresh perspective on the most powerful woman in American political history, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”
As the country’s leadership is tested like never before, Ball provides readers with a timely portrait of Speaker Pelosi’s life and career in politics. The book is based on exclusive interviews with the Speaker herself, plus extensive background reporting that offers a new perspective on Pelosi’s success as a woman in a male-dominated institution and the lessons she has learned along the way.
