MicroProfile GraphQL: Get everything you ever wanted - and ONLY what you want!

By IBM Developer

Do you find yourself parsing through a lot of data from a remote service? Or making multiple requests to get the data you really want? GraphQL was designed to get you all the data you want in just one round-trip. Come learn how you can integrate GraphQL in your applications using a trusted framework in MicroProfile.
🎓 What will you learn?
MicroProfile GraphQL provides a powerful yet easy-to-learn API for building services that conform to the GraphQL specification. Similar to JAX-RS for RESTful services, MP GraphQL uses simple annotations to turn your application into a microservice endpoint. It includes basic features like queries and mutations as well as advanced features like error handling, pagination, etc. This session will cover the basics of GraphQL and how to build your first GraphQL application in Java.
👩‍💻 Who should attend? Developers, software architects, API enthusiasts and anyone who would like to learn more about microservices and GraphQL.
🎙️ Speaker Andy McCright is the Web Services architect for WebSphere and Liberty runtimes at IBM.
