In this class, we will explore how the ego’s need to maintain the separation keeps it from choosing to remember that love doesn’t involve conflict. It is necessary to understand how afraid the ego is of returning to the mind and choosing another interpretation. Even when we are told that choosing the ego as our teacher brings fear, while choosing the Holy Spirit brings peace, we still choose the ego many times. Why do we do this? We will explain the intentions of the ego in this class and seek to understand the need for the ego to maintain its existence. We will also be discussing the Kingdom of God (our reality) and how completely different it is than the world we see now. In this world, conflict is impossible because God did not create it. Together, we will move beyond the world of form and learn how to accept ourselves as God created us, letting go of fearful beliefs that keep us rooted in the dream of separation.
