In his latest mystery, NELL: MARSHAL OF BODIE, 18-year-old, one-legged Nell Doherty dreams of becoming a Pinkerton detective. First, though, she must take her father’s place as Marshal and track down the desperadoes who murdered him. Before turning to writing, John worked as a wild-lands firefighter, economist, financial analyst, university lecturer, and programmer/analyst. He lives in the San Diego area with his wife.
