LIFTed UNITED welcomes Abigail Hing Wen and Dominic Lim in the first part of our themed: “The World Next Door, a celebration of AAPI in literature.” 

Abigail Hing Wen is the New York Times best-selling author of Loveboat, Taipei and companion novels Loveboat Reunion and Loveboat Forever. She executive produced the Paramount Plus book-to-film adaptation LOVE IN TAIPEI, a romantic comedy starring Ashley Liao and Ross Butler. She and her work have been profiled in Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, NBC News, Forbes, Fortune, Cosmopolitan, Bloomberg, Google Talk, People en Espanol and the World Journal, among others. Her fourth young adult novel, Kisses, Codes and Conspiracies, comes out August 2024.

Dominic Lim’s debut novel, All the Right Notes, has been named a 2023 best book by USA Today, Harper’s Bazaar, Goodreads, BookRiot, Library Journal, Booklist, and Entertainment Weekly, who called it “a swoony, joyful rom com to take readers into a love story worthy of a Broadway stage.” He is a member of the Writer's Grotto and is a co-host of the long-running Babylon Salon reading and performance series in San Francisco.
