Based on the mystery podcast Lethal Lit, Murder of Crows follows Cuban-American teen detective Tig Torres as she investigates the Murder of Crows, Hollow Falls’ local armchair detective group obsessed with the town’s dark past, the town founder’s missing body, and the secrets buried with it.
K. ANCRUM is the author of the award-winning thriller The Wicker King, a lesbian romance The Weight of the Stars, and the upcoming Peter Pan thriller Darling. K. is a Chicago native passionate about diversity and representation in young adult fiction. She currently writes most of her work in the lush gardens of the Chicago Art Institute.
HEATHER EINHORN was born and raised in New York City. She grew up loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batgirl, female detective stories and teen spy thrillers. She’d be happy to eat cookies for every meal of the day. After many years as an executive in the entertainment industry, Heather made the leap to co-found EEP so she could create stories showcasing heroic women characters. Heather co-created the graphic novel The Curie Society as well popular scripted podcasts Daughters of DC and Lethal Lit: A Tig Torres Mystery, which was listed as a NY Times great podcast and was the first young adult scripted podcast. She still lives in New York City with her husband and creative partner, Adam Staffaroni.
ADAM STAFFARONI is a lifelong fan of comics in all forms – newspaper strips, comic books, graphic novels – and has been creating comics in one form or another for the past fifteen years. He’s a graduate of Dartmouth College and received an MFA as part of the first-ever graduating class at The Center for Cartoon Studies. He lives in New York City where he creates all sorts of stories, including the scripted podcasts Daughters of DC and Lethal Lit: A Tig Torres Mystery, and the graphic novels The Curie Society, all of which he co-created with his wife, Heather Einhorn.
