As a follow up to my presentation, “Respect, Love and Integrity in BDSM – How Leather Changed My Life”, this class teaches some of the old school protocols that I was taught by my mentors and witnessed growing up in the Atlanta Leather community. Protocols were rules or codes of behavior for slaves and submissives that enhanced the power dynamics and created cohesion for relationships and the community. These rules varied depending on leather families, communities and regions but had their commonalities based in Old Guard Leather traditions. I will cover Leather History and such protocols as honorifics, collars, ceremonies, contracts, stances, walking, formal and informal mode, dining and more. This is an informative presentation for anyone interested in leather and traditional approaches to power exchange.
