WRITE TO RISE - Difficult By Design Spiral 

Áine Tyrrell has been hosting Write to Rise workshops for over 10 years, across many beautiful lands and with diverse communities of people. These are spirals are designed to meet the needs of the time and are never straight lines: places where we meet the yearning in all of us to express, create, and share our stories.

We are at a time, across the world, across communities, across lived experience, where rumblings are happening. Seeds are growing. Truths are being shared. Pens, and swords, are being directed toward the growth of our collective humanity.

It sometimes takes a nudge to step in, claim some space, take the pen, and write what is coming forth, especially now, when it all feels so big. In a recent workshop on Birpai Country, there was real gratitude for the opening of a door: a way in. That is what this space offers. None of us have the answers in creativity; how could we? It is a mystical, magical dance, with no tangible way to pin it down. But if you are curious, this is a doorway to walk through.

Be in circle. Open a doorway. Nudge toward what you yearn for.

All welcome. Suitable for experienced musicians, poets, and writers, and for those just starting their creative journey. Everyone is invited to pick up the pen, claim their space, and WRITE TO RISE.
