Whilst men are more at risk from acute COVID, far more women experience long term symptoms such as crippling fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, sweats, heart palpitations, muscle and joint pain, and/ or insomnia.

We will discuss how SNPs on receptor genes impact our individual response, utilisation  and regulation of oestrogen and other hormones and the effects on our immune system and metabolic health and susceptibility to Long COVID.
