Navigating the legal system is not easy. Join this engaging session and learn about the rights and responsibilities of older adults and those who care for them under Ontario law. Topics will include: capacity, the importance of power of attorney, and remedies for financial abuse of seniors.
This talk is presented by the Elder Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and led by Kemi Ibitoye. Kemi is a member of the Trusts and Estates Law section of the Ontario Bar Association and the founder and principal lawyer of Ibitoye Law Office. Her practice focuses on wills and estates law, real estate and family law.
