Freedom to Read-In Afternoon Session

By Porter Square Books

Join us for the Freedom Read-In, a free, all-day assembly of award-winning children's book authors reading from their own work to bring attention to and raise support for Freedom to Read bills that are active in twelve states.  Twenty acclaimed authors from across the United States will each present for fifteen minutes on May 9th, during Children's Book Week, to honor the need for diversity of American children's literature. Drop in for one 15-minute session, or stream the whole event, from 10:00AM-12:45PM and 1:00PM- 3:00PM Eastern Time.

This is a live event. Please no recording, out of respect for the copyrighted material that will be shared.
