Kitchen Witchery: How to Make Magic in the Kitchen Daily with Mimi Eubanks
By Hex Education Network
Cooking meets witchcraft! Think a witchy version of Martha Stewart. Join Appalachian and southern witch Mimi Eubanks streaming online for a presentation on Kitchen Witchery. Mimi believes everyone should learn how to cook not only as a necessary life skill, but especially for the spiritual aspects of it. Kitchen witchery teaches patience, keeps you in-tune with the seasons, connects you with your ancestors, and creates a healthy relationship with your food.
In this class Mimi will be covering:
- Your personal experience with cooking and how it's interwoven with magic.
- How to choose and use herbs in your Witches kitchen and prepare them for magical intent in your recipes.
- The tools every Witch should have in their Kitchen.
- Knowing where your food comes from and how to grow your own.
- The spiritual aspects of the ingredients and the food you prepare.
Mimi will wrap up demonstrating a couple of recipes including one you can savor for yourself and another strictly for magical purposes! At the conclusion of the presentation everyone will go home with a handout that will cover some recipes and highlights from the class! If you're joining Mimi Online you'll be able to download this handout.
