When we can understand, manage, and express our emotions; and understand andmanage the emotions of others, it means we have some level of Emotional Intelligence. Unlike IQ, Emotional Intelligence isn’t often taught in schools, hence sometimes you may not understand your emotional triggers nor what you are feeling, or why you have certain emotions. Yet, Emotional Intelligence is one of the most sought-after skills, helping us maintain a great attitude, build resilience during difficult times, and live happier and fulfilled lives. Learning about our emotions gives us clues on the things that truly bring us joy, and helps us understand what we need to do to take care of our mind, body, and spirit so that we can be there for ourselves as well as for others. Emotions and productivity have a direct connection. The better we can manage our emotions, the more productive we feel. In this session, you’ll learn about the PALM method in managing your emotions, and what you can do to shift how you feel, stay calm, energized, and manage your productivity.
