Raising Confident Kids: Reclaiming Play: Revitalizing Childhood to Combat Anxiety and Aggression

By TPL Kids

Children today are facing rising levels of anxiety and aggression—and the root cause? A dramatic decline in free play.
In this session, Hannah Beach explores why play is essential for emotional health and development. As structured activities and screen time replace unstructured play, children are struggling more than ever. Research shows that play is crucial for lowering anxiety, building resilience, and fostering social-emotional well-being. Yet, this generation is the first to experience a childhood without it.
Join Hannah for a practical workshop on how to support children's emotional health and create a play-filled family culture that fosters resilience and well-being.

About Hannah Beach: Hannah Beach is an award-winning educator, author, and emotional health consultant. She co-authored Reclaiming Our Students and created the I Can Dance series.
