The hero’s journey is a narrative pattern used in many stories. A hero embarks on a quest, faces a series of challenges and ultimately returns home as a changed person.

We improved this structure to use it for non-linear, interactive immersive scenarios, and developed a worksheet to help you create story-based VR training scenarios yourself.

The worksheet divides the narrative into three distinct acts (setup, confrontation & resolution). These help to structure your narrative in an engaging and satisfying way, that keeps your audience invested throughout the whole story.
