Hoodoo with Juju Bae!
By Juju Bae (Domino Sound)
Have you wanted to learn more about African-American Hoodoo from an active Hoodoo practitioner? Are you interested in the lore, history, and present of this living breathing tradition? Are you wanting to learn more about your conjuring, ways to connect with ancestors (and elders) and enhance your Hoodoo practice in these (wild) modern times? Well it sounds like Hoodoo with Juju is for you. This class is for the experienced practitioner seeking to re-ground and sharpen their practice, as well as the novice who just doesn’t know “where to start”! Also, you'll have access to Hoodoo community and special guest lecturers like Mama Koko and Arthur Flowers.
Join Juju Bae every Wednesday in March 2025 at 7:30pm EST for a FOUR WEEK 2 HOUR course on African-American Hoodoo, the “Healing and Harming” tradition that has given generations, faith, hope, and power.
This class is exclusively for Black/African-American/ and Afro-Diasporan people.
I’m extremely excited to teach this course, and because I’m so excited, this 4 week course is being offered for only $450 for this first cohort. Registration ends March 1st (or until capacity is reached, whichever is first!)
This course is a compilation of the research, time, and eldership connections that I’ve gained over my 7 + years as an active + researched Hoodoo practitioner with a lifetime of experience. Hoodoo is considered a “closed practice” to many, however there are general educational understandings and accessible tools that can be shared in order to trigger the depths of this tradition and your own inner knowing to empower you on your own sacred journey.
