As their low flutes artist, I’ll be showcasing my flute collection—from my Trevor James bass flute and the RAW copper alto flute, which have been getting quite the buzz online, to some of my antique wooden flutes. I’ll be playing, sharing stories, and answering any questions you might have about music, the flute, or anything else that comes to mind. David, the Technical Director of TJ and the mastermind behind some of these magnificent flutes, will also join us to answer your more technical questions about flute materials, processes, and more.

Hi, I’m Hadar, a flutist, composer, and producer. After moving to New York City from Israel at 21, I spent fifteen years performing, recording five albums, and touring internationally with my harmony-less trio. I love blending musical styles—classical, jazz, Brazilian choro, and influences from Latin America and the Middle East—into my own musical language.

A fan of old flutes, I have a collection of antique wooden and modern low flutes like the alto and bass, which inspire my explorative approach. I also created The Self Sufficient Flutist, a method that bridges classical and jazz education for flutists from all genres. Now, I balance touring, performing, and teaching, aiming to build a supportive flute community worldwide.
