"Hacking the Value of GRC" - Super Cyber Friday
By CISO Series
Please join us on Friday May 3, 2024 for Super Cyber Friday.
Our topic of discussion will be Hacking the Value of GRC: An hour of critical thinking of how compliance can kickstart your risk program.
Joining David Spark (@dspark), producer of CISO Series for this discussion will be:
- Kim Elias, senior compliance specialist, Vanta
- Norman Hunt, deputy CISO, GEICO
In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
- How do you make risk an organization concept?
- Where do you start when looking for a new GRC solution? What should you take into consideration specific to your organization?
- How are GRC programs differentiated?
- How do you get stakeholders involved?
- How do you incorporate compliance into risk?
- How do you evolve your program beyond a static risk register?
- Where is automation playing a role in GRC? Why is it important?
- What can you do to build out policy and processes to govern beyond specific requirements?
- How do you handle governance in the early stages? How does this change as you gain maturity?
It all starts at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific. At the end of the hour [2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific] we'll switch gears to our meetup where everyone will get a chance to chat face to face.
HUGE thanks to our sponsor Vanta
