"Hacking Social Engineering" - Super Cyber Friday

By CISO Series

Please join us on Friday, April 11, 2025, for Super Cyber Friday.

Our topic of discussion will be “Hacking Social Engineering: An hour of critical thinking about how a lack of controls is setting us up for financial loss.”

Joining Rich Stroffolino, producer of CISO Series for this discussion will be:
  • Michael Scott, CMO, Trustmi
  • And a special guest (that means we’re still in booking mode)
In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
  • What social engineering attacks would be most consequential to your business?
  • How have advances in AI supercharged the scale of social engineering attacks?
  • If AI effectively allows for an infinite supply of attacks, how to you build a comprehensive security program?
  • How is this impacting the nuance threat actors can use for fraud?
  • What are the checks and balances you need to be successful with social engineering?
  • What level of sophistication do threat actors need to use deep fakes? How effective are they right now and how will that change in the short-term?
  • How do we further create a system where clicking on a link isn't game over for security?
  • What does a bend-don't-break approach look like for social engineering attacks?
It all starts at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific. At the end of the hour [2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific] we'll switch gears to our meetup where everyone will get a chance to chat face to face.

HUGE thanks to our sponsor Trustmi

Super Cyber Fridays are open discussions where all viewers and listeners are welcome to become participants. Before the scheduled event, connect your webcam and microphone (avoid Bluetooth). During the discussion, if you have a question or comment, let it be known in the chat room and our producer will do his best to get as many of you into the conversation. We look forward to you joining us.
