"Hacking Narrative Threats" - Super Cyber Friday
By CISO Series
Please join us on Friday March 21, 2025 for Super Cyber Friday.
Our topic of discussion will be “Hacking Narrative Threats: An hour of critical thinking about measuring the risks you least control.”
Joining David Spark (@dspark), producer of CISO Series for this discussion will be:
- Nick Loui, CEO and co-founder, PeakMetrics
- Jason Elrod, CISO, MultiCare Health System
In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
- Does your security team know what conversations are happening about your organization online?
- How do you assess risk for online conversations about your organization?
- Who owns responsibility for narrative threats? Who should?
- When do you need to shift narrative risks from a PR function to risk management?
- What are the early warning signs of a narrative threat?
- How has the rise of generative media impacted the scale of narrative threats?
- Are you accounting for potential real-world harms from online conversations?
- What is your playbook for taking action on online threats once they are discovered?
- How can you add context to these external narrative threats happening on platforms you least control?
It all starts at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific. At the end of the hour [2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific] we'll switch gears to our meetup where everyone will get a chance to chat face to face.
HUGE thanks to our sponsor PeakMetrics
