"Hacking 5G Security" - Super Cyber Friday

Our topic of discussion will be “Hacking 5G Security: An hour of critical thinking about the looming explosion of IoT on 5G networks.”
Joining David Spark (@dspark), producer of CISO Series for this discussion will be:

- Howard Holton, CTO and industry analyst, GigaOm
In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
- High level: What’s the excitement of 5G, what’s the fear?
- In what ways has the attack surface expanded?
- Will 5G completely swamp security? How will SOCs be able to do investigations on these incidents?
- How have IoT botnets evolved in the last 4-5 years?
- What are some of the horrible things that can happen to your 4G or 5G core?
- What do DDoS attacks look like in 5G?
- What are the control planes we’re dealing with in 5G that we didn’t have to deal with before?
It all starts at 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific. At the end of the hour [2 PM Eastern/11 AM Pacific] we'll switch gears to our meetup where everyone will get a chance to chat face to face.
