Bring Them Home chronicles the profound restoration of buffalo (iinnii) to ancestral lands, vividly demonstrating how territorial protection, species reintroduction, and the health of the land are fundamentally inseparable from the wellness of our communities.

Following the film, our live panel bridges the gap between frontline grassroots restoration and structural policy change. Featured panelist Paulette Fox (Natowaawawahkaki / Holy Walking Woman)—a member of the Blackfoot Confederacy from the Blood Tribe/Kainai Nation, environmental scientist, and co-founder of the Iinnii Initiative—will share critical insights on using Biocultural Systems Design to address our climate and biodiversity crises.

Alongside youth land defenders and traditional knowledge keepers, the discussion will highlight how local frameworks provide scalable blueprints for climate adaptation, focusing on practical legal interventions like the Rights of Pollinators Act to protect keystone species and their habitats from ecological collapse.
