The everyday experiences of women are not at the center of how our economic systems have been designed. For this event, panelists will take a deeper look at how our current systems and policies impact women, including: the devaluing of care work, lack of support for working mothers and families to thrive, and how the different facets of our economy, including banking and benefits systems, fail to protect women from exploitation or support their exit out of abusive situations at home or in the workplace.
