Endurance Training for Aerialists (replay available!)

By Shannon McKenna Aerial

Here's the hard and ugly truth: there are only 24 hours in a day and we cannot spend them all in the air.
With training hours limited, it make sense to prioritize learning all the cool tricks and skills BUT what happens when we want to stay in the air long enough to link two skills together? OR even create a piece for performance?
That's where endurance comes in. Most recommendations involve gaining endurance through running, swimming, cycling or some other non-aerial related nonsense as cross training. (Of course, I say all this in jest, mad respect to you cross trainers out there.)
To the REST of us, good news! There are ways to improve endurance that don't involve running a daily 5k or selling a kidney to afford studio time.
Join Shannon McKenna and guest instructor, Tanya Burka, for this webinar that gives you the road map to functional endurance for aerialists.
During this 1.5 hour webinar, Tanya will
  • Break down the methodology behind this kind of training
  • Take you through a sample workout with exercise that prioritize strength and stability in end range motion AND aerial muscles that regular cardio workouts don't target
  • Provide you with a broad range of exercises as a starting point to create your OWN workouts tailored to your aerial aspirations.

Yes, you will sweat. You will HATE her (Tanya, not Shannon. Shannon never did nothing to you). But in the end, you will see how effective it is and how it truly sucks less than running!
