Merrill Page, author of Earth Medicine: A Field Guide Healing in Seasons and Cycles, will discuss her new book and explore “Re-thinking Modern Medicine and Making Alternatives Work” as a way to demystify energy medicine.

Page is a lifelong student of Alternative Medicine and brings a deep love of metaphor, culture, nature, and scientific philosophy to her understanding of how we heal. Drawing from her diverse background in Literature and Language (BA Stanford 1997), pre-medicine studies (George Washington University 1999), Health and Healing (MA Saybrook University 2006) and 20 years as a practitioner of Ayurveda, 5 element theory and Craniosacral therapy, she unites diverse frameworks for understanding health and medicine under a common umbrella she calls Earth Medicine. Her new book, Earth Medicine: A Field Guide illuminates how, by surrendering to the natural cycles and stages of life, we reclaim health on not just a personal level, but communally and globally as well.
