About Dr. Prashant Singh


Dr. Prashant Singh is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. His research interests include understanding the role of diet in the pathophysiology of FGIDs and developing novel, evidence-based dietary therapies for the management of these functional disorders.

He is currently supported by the K23 career development award from NIH and grants from IFFGD and Michigan Nutrition and Obesity Research Center. He has authored more than 80 clinical and translational research articles and reviews including several in top-tier scientific journals including Gastroenterology, American Journal of Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
