Deploy your First Golang Website on Red Hat OpenShift
By IBM Developer
đź“· Overview
Golang is a pretty popular programming language nowadays, thanks for its ability to work on large distributed servers and to be a better alternative for C++ and Java. With Golang, you can create chatrooms, large distributed websites, and many other types of applications, without running into any hard-to-debug errors, such as in C++. Golang is very easy to learn, as it is rather close to C++ and Java in terms of syntax and concepts, and it is maintained by a large community. Learn more about what are containers and what is OpenShift. Also, learn more about what is Golang and how to use it to deploy a web server on OpenShift.
đź“· What will you learn?
You’ll get an understanding of how containers work, their benefits and how you can use container technology on IBM Cloud ranging from container registry to OpenShift. You'll also lear more about how Golang is used for Web Development
We will conclude the webinar with our hands on deploying our Golang web server on OpenShift.
