Rally for UK Amazon workers! ALU Vice President Derrick Palmer speaks

The fightback against Amazon's exploitation and union-busting is global! We are thrilled to announce Derrick Palmer, Vice President of the Amazon Labor Union, will join us for a rally to show international support for Amazon's UK warehouse workers in their battle for fair pay and safe working conditions.
Derrick is one of the leaders of the incredible movement to unionise Amazon warehouses in the United States, culminating in the successful first-ever unionisation of a US warehouse on New York's Staten Island this year. His advice and reflections on how to take on Amazon – and win – are incredibly valuable and we can't wait to hear from him.
We will then hope to have a message from a very special guest.
Also speaking at the rally will be GMB Organiser Rachel Fagan, who can reveal the situation at BHX4 warehouse in Coventry when the GMB union is running the first-ever strike ballot at a UK Amazon warehouse.
We will also be joined by the Labour MP for Coventry North West, Taiwo Owatemi, who has been supporting Amazon workers in the Coventry warehouse and can bring her perspective on the situation in the UK parliament when it comes to Amazon’s exploitation.
And last but not least, a current UK Amazon warehouse worker will also join us to speak about the situation on the shop floor right now, how the fight back has been going in the warehouses and how Amazon has imported their union-busting tactics across the Atlantic here to the UK.
There will also be a chance to ask the speakers questions. Please join us for a celebration of international solidarity and the global fightback against Amazon!
