This 1-hour continuing education (CE) session is designed to help Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) develop a deeper understanding of cultural competency within the context of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and ethical practice. The course will explore how cultural factors shape behavior, assessment methods, and intervention strategies, while emphasizing the importance of cultural sensitivity. Participants will also learn about ethical considerations related to working with diverse populations and how to ensure ABA practices are both effective and respectful of cultural differences in accordance with the BACB Ethics Code.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Define cultural competency and its relevance in behavior analytic practice, while identifying strategies to incorporate cultural awareness into assessments and interventions.

2. Explore the ethical implications of cultural diversity and how to align behavior analytic interventions with clients' cultural backgrounds in compliance with the BACB Ethics Code.

Participants will earn 1 Ethics CE following the completion of CE Survey
