How can modern technology enable providers and platforms to meet new Consumer Duty obligations?
The FCA’s new Consumer Duty, which goes live in just over four months, demands much more of providers and platforms in terms of getting to know their customers and proactively serving them.
They will only be able to up their game for customers if they accumulate much more up to date and accurate knowledge of policyholders’ financial situation, retirement ambitions, their financial risks and vulnerabilities than they do today.
Providers must be able to evidence that they are ensuring their customers are being protected from foreseeable harm. They must also show they are shaping products to meet specific, pre-identified target market needs.
This webinar is an opportunity to take a broad ranging look at the new Duty’s obligations for providers and platforms and consider which types of technologies can be brought to bear to enable much more proactive, digital consumer communications which not only evidences the delivery and opening of key regulatory documents, but is capable of flagging disengaged policyholders which may be exposed to detriment if adjustments aren’t made.
