World Collage Day Art Workshop with John Arbuckle

By Everett Public Library

Join us on World Collage Day, May 14, 2022 for a live and interactive workshop to make your own collage artist trading cards and/or artist playing cards. Everyone loves getting snail mail. In this workshop you will learn how to create an original 2.5 x 3.5 sized trading cards to send to friends as a piece of mailable art using recycled materials and your creativity.
A limited number of free supplies kits will be available for pickup from the Everett Public Library. Sign-up for a kit here beginning on April 16. You do not need a kit to join the program! Supplies needed to follow along are: 2.5 x 3.5 thick paper, magazines, scissors, glue stick, pencil, and watercolors or any other paint such as acrylic.
John Arbuckle, member of the NW Collage Society, is a local collage, book binding and mixed media artist who has taught children and adults for 46 years. John is in his element creating art journals, artist trading cards and mail art to snail mail other artists. His work may be seen on his daily blog.
