Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating in Circus: what clinicians need to know

By The Circus Doc

Eating disorders and disordered eating are common among circus artists. This talk will start with the information you need to spot signs of eating disorders and disordered eating in your clients. Then, we will discuss possible reasons why disordered eating is so common in circus, with practical advice on how you can use this knowledge for prevention purposes.
The talk will finish with guidance about how to start a conversation about mental health with your clients followed by a Q&A in which you can ask questions about all things circus psychology.
This talk will be recorded and available for a week after the live event.
Join Dr. Fleur van Rens for this important conversation to support our circus artists.
