Kim Chayeb is the Two-Spirit CEO of Wild Tongues, as well as an internationally known multi-disciplinary artist, an educator, a holistic healer, and a local Chicago community activist originally from San Diego, California. After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in 2015, Kim’s spoken word poetry and conceptual performance art experiences, (which focus on anti-racism, indigenous sovereignty, science/spirituality, and environmental empathy), have been a featured on 91.1 Vocalo Radio, WZRD Radio, Steppenwolf Theatre, Pilsen Fest, Steep Theatre’s The Boxcar, DePaul University, Xavier University, at Thawalls (fundraiser hosted by Links Hall and Three Walls Gallery), Gallery 400, Chicago Artists Coalition, the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador, South America. In essence, Kim is a #PassionatePisces, #PoliticalPantheist, #PoeticPerformer, #PansexualPainter, #PurposefulProducer, and #PhilosophicalPhilanthropist.
Sara Kinslow is a Physical Scientist and Permit Writer with the US Environmental Protection Agency Region 1 Office in Boston. She began her career at EPA in the Region 3 Office in Philadelphia, working as an intern in the Brownfields and Safe Drinking Water programs before joining the agency full-time in the Hazardous Waste program in 2014. Sara has a Master of Science in Applied Geosciences from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Brown University. During the COVID-19 lockdown in Boston, she improved her penmanship, re-learned how to roller skate, and over-watered her houseplants.
Peg Keiner is the Director of Innovation at GEMS World Academy-Chicago where she supports students and staff in technology integration for positive community impact. She is also a National Geographic Education Fellow, Grosvenor Teacher Fellow, and Explorer Mentor focusing on citizen science and educational outreach. She designs learning experiences that connect people to place through immersive storytelling and data collection.
