This event will introduce the new Bloomsbury Neo-Latin Series by presenting its first two volumes, which have just appeared. These two volumes are anthologies of British and European Neo-Latin Literature respectively and, equipped with English translations and commentaries, will contribute to making early modern Latin texts more widely accessible and available for teaching. The event will include presentations from the series editors, the volume editors and representatives from the publishers as well as a discussion of sample texts from the books, to give people a first taste of what to expect.
