Welcome to another Escarpment Labs Webinar. This time, we're featuring a talk and Q&A with German brewer and historian Benedikt Koch. Benedikt has been studying the history of traditional German sour beers, including the traditional methods of production for Berliner Weisse. Hint: it doesn't involve fruit purée!

In this talk, Benedikt will cover the general history of Berliner Weisse, the culture surrounding the beer, as well as production methods including both mixed culture and modern methods.

Our host Richard Preiss will also detail some of the Escarpment Labs products that brewers have used to reproduce traditional Berliner Weisse.
