Join us April 30th at 7pm for a virtual celebration of the Scags series with Deborah Emin and moderated by Jennie Green.

Deborah Emin is the author of the 4-volume Scags Series. Each novel represents a different period in the growth and development of Scags, the eponymous character. In the final volume, Scags deals with grief, betrayal and the burden of unimaginable wealth. How she deals with this reflects many of the concerns, political, environmental and gender-based that Deborah has dealt with in other aspects of her writing life and which propel her now in her new novels. Deborah owns Sullivan Street Press and The LOCALS’ Bookshop. She lives in East Stroudsburg, PA with her wife, Suzanne Pyrch.

Jennie Green lives on the north shore of St. Thomas (U. S. Virgin Islands) and runs 4 Airbnb’s there. She has had numerous jobs that combine her amazing skills at writing; designing and making women’s swim suits; working with a women’s cooperative in Afghanistan; and lately pouring her soul into learning to play guitar. She and Deborah Emin have known each other for the entire period Deborah worked on the Scags Series.
