A psychedelic experience can open a lot: insight, emotion, memories, sometimes more questions than answers. And then you come home, and everyday life picks up right where it left off. Many people find that the hardest part isn’t the journey itself, but knowing what to do with it afterward.

We hear this all the time from people in our community.

Join Martyna Skalna, Althea’s Head of Community + Growth, and Otto Maier, an integration practitioner with a decade of experience in psychedelic medicine, for a live conversation about what integration really looks like and how to support it. Otto will share how he works with people after a journey, and then we’ll open the floor to your questions.

Some of the topics we’ll cover include:

What integration actually is, and why insights can fade without it

What to do when an experience was difficult, confusing, or left you unsettled

Simple practices for grounding and coming back to your body

Working with the different “parts” of yourself that can surface after a journey

When it helps to seek support, and the different forms that support can take

A first look at Althea’s new small-group integration program, led by Otto

Otto Maier brings a decade of experience in psychedelic medicine, including leading retreats, heading up integration at a psychedelic education organization, and running his own private practice. His work draws on depth psychology, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems, and animism.

Martyna Skalna leads community and growth at Althea, where she builds integration offerings and talks with people navigating psychedelic experiences every day.
