Join esteemed photographers Nicolas Alexander Otto and Marc Koegel for this webinar as they take you on an incredible photographic journey through the Icelandic highlands.
Alex and Marc will each show several of their photographs, discuss the stories behind them, and also share some general tips and tricks about their landscape photography and traveling through Iceland.
The webinar is structured to follow the same route that both will travel during their upcoming Icelandic Highlands workshop, scheduled for August 30 to September 10, 2021. If you're interested in that workshop then this webinar will give you an excellent preview of what to expect. But there will also be plenty to enjoy and learn for those who won't be able to join the workshop đ
On first glance, your instructors Alexander Otto and Marc Koegel webpage have very different photographic styles. Alex works predominately in colour, loves blue hour light, and is an expert in meticulously planning most every photograph. Marc, on the other hand, prefers minimalistic black and white, enjoys working in virtually any lighting condition, and is more of a reactor rather than a planner. What they both have in common is their excitement for art and science of photography and a deep appreciation for the area (and Iceland in general), as well as their desire and enjoyment of teaching and inspiring others.
